Smith and Jones were chosen by the project team at Heckington Windmill, because we were able to develop an interpretation scheme that was engaging, and revealed the fascinating history of this truly fantastic site.
We started from a blank canvas, considering the whole of the site, from carpark to cafe, and putting ourselves in the visitors place.
The materials chosen for manufacturing the displays were natural oak frames and white painted panelling, which worked with the look and feel of the site.
