Guardian Visitor Centre, Six Bells

Museum redevelopment
Heritage interpretation

An exciting new visitor centre experience for Six Bells Communities First Partnership and Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council, located in Six Bells, Abertillery, South Wales.

We created a 1960’s room set typical of a miners house, designed to enlighten visitors on what it used to be like living in Six Bells in the 1960’s. The room set featured an audio chair, playing sound quotes of locals talking about the 1960’s.

In addition, the life of a miner living in Six Bells was explored together with interpretation relating to the iconic Guardian Miners Memorial.
